Tonight, our first night of an “around the world” food tour, we ate vegetarian chili (the Moosewood version), Fishski Provisions’ Mac-and-cheese and a delightful apple pie made by Alex and Dean.
After dinner we watched Corpus Christi, my film group’s selection this month. It was very good, powerful, unsettling. If you get a chance to watch it, do.
That pie looks impressive. We rarely make pie. But you’ve reminded me that it’s time, with all our summer fruit. And last year I discovered an excellent US pie dough recipe – you guys really know how to do pie!
