To help out a family member I spent much of the day emailing strangers (and one non-stranger). I learned a lot and found someone who seems a good fit for this family member’s current goals.
I can spend days doing nothing of importance, but when necessary I can get things done. That’s delightful to know, and something I sometimes forget.
